- To locate and retrieve artifacts and documents that have passed
out of tribal hands.
- To promote the interests of tribal artists.
- Through the operation of a tribal museum, to celebrate the identity
and pride of the people of Tulalip and to enhance the recognition
of that identity and pride in surrounding communities.
- To ensure that the museum represents the Tulalip People.
- Incorporate the
language into all aspects of the museum.

- Develop mini-exhibits to preview museum holdings.
- Establish working relationships with other museums, donors
and tribal members.
- Work closely with all museums that have Tulalip artifacts and
ensure their return to the new facility.
